I'm Alea Kilgore. My mission is to help entrepreneurs create purpose-driven, profitable businesses and brands. Through world-class training programs, hands-on coaching, and strategic business planning, I empower entrepreneurs to dream big and back it up with meaningful action to create results.
A born-and-raised midwestern girl from Missouri, I have always been a multi-passionate entrepreneur with a love for seemingly unconnected things: travel, food, hospitality, art, music, performing, psychology, entrepreneurship, wellness and meditation, to name a few. After much frustration trying to choose just one thing to be in life, I realized that my unusual combination of interests and skills was a strength, not a liability.

I spent nearly a decade working in Small Business Development Centers with businesses of all different sizes, industries and scopes, giving me a keen understanding of what makes a business stand out, gain traction and sales, and attract investors. It's not replicating what everyone else is doing or mastering the marketing flavor of the week, it’s how well you authentically connect with the people you’re trying to help and communicate your understanding back to them.
I have also worked in small businesses (including several of my own) and am the Director of Business Development for one of the top restaurant concessionaires in Colorado, Mission Yogurt, Inc. I instruct business planning courses at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce (learn more about that here) and consult with entrepreneurs spanning multiple industries, from food and restaurants to health and wellness. I draw inspiration from seeing entrepreneurs thrive doing what they love and I hope to inspire my clients to lead truly fulfilling, enriching lives that have a big impact.
I hold a BS in business and an MBA in marketing from Missouri State University.

"I am inspired by people who just go for it and redefine life on their own terms rather than society's idea of what a life should look like. Your life is your own, no one else's."
For as long as I can remember, I have been insatiably curious by human potential. I wanted to know, what does it mean to have success, joy and fulfillment? And, why is it easier for some people to get clear on what brings them happiness?
Author and speaker Earl Nightingale said, "Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal." This definition of success means anyone who is on the path toward fulfilling a goal is successful. It's not necessarily achieving the goal that results in success but the pursuit that brings true fulfillment.
I believe every person has a special gift, passion or calling. And, that whether you have a business or not, self-fulfillment happens while you're on the quest to share your passion with the world. Yet many entrepreneurs (including myself) have so many passions it can be hard to narrow in on just one. That's why I love to work with clients using my collaborative method, which helps us determine their passion, the purpose behind their business, a solid action plan, and milestones to measure progress. But in the end, what they really get is their best selves - successful, happy and fulfilled.
